Things To Do

There is so much to do and to see when staying at Caswell House, that we have separated it into two areas.

The Immediate area gives a few suggestions of what to do and what you might see within walking distance of Caswell House. The farm is within a Countryside Stewardship agreement, where conservation includes the historical interests, landscape, fauna and flora. The RSPB conducted a survey which showed 62 bird species on the farm, including Goldcrests, Willow Warblers and Kingfishers.

Further afield gives a list of ideas of places to visit within easy driving distance with Burford, Oxford, Stow-on-the-Wold and Woodstock less than half an hour away. Bath, Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick with fine shops, tea rooms, theatres and restaurants are all about an hour away. London is easily accessible by road or rail, with a fast train from Oxford, or a more leisurely one from Charlbury.

... and at the end of the day a hot shower to ease the muscles after a days punting on the Cherwell.
